It is always fabulous family fun complete with the sounds of an authentic German Oomm Pappa Band and music by Grandpa's Cough Medicine. Be one of the first 100 to arrive and receive a complimentary one liter glass boot. Sign up for the regulation corn hole tournament, visit with the Monster German Wiener, and wear a pretzel necklace. Don't miss the ceremonial tapping of the first Konig Ludwig keg, and make sure to stay in case your German apparel earns you the crown of King or Queen of Oktoberfest It is one of the rare cooperate efforts put forth by all Jacksonville beer distributors so you can choose from traditional imports including Hacker Pschorr, Hofbrau, and Warsteiner to fill your beer boot, as well as taste cider and craft brews from across the United States.

Everyone can't make it across the ditch, and some folks want to double their fun, so European Street Cafe in Riverside will host Oktoberfest, part II, October 15th, 2011 on Park Street. You will find the same excitement, the same electric energy and yes, more delicious beer. We imagine the costumes worn at the inaugural Riverside Oktoberfest will have your jaws dropping and eyes popping.
